It's time for Pumpkin!

The new Crafty Contagion challenge is all about pumpkin! It doesn't have to be a pumpkin, just anything that makes you think of pumpkin. For me, the first thing that came to mind was the color.

I've never been big on the color orange, except for on an actual pumpkin itself. So, I decided to use the color on something besides a pumpkin.

This is one of my favorite kid digis. I used a piece of Basic Grey double-sided paper. I love how the sides go so well together so I don't have to go searching for a matching paper. I added a cute little bow and some pink/white twine to help make the card a bit more girly. Orange doesn't seem to be much of a girly color to me.

Since I did a girly one, I figured I might as well do a boyish one.

No bow on this one! I used some of my leftover Basic Grey for the background, then added some textured DCVW I've had for awhile. Add on three cute embellies in silver I got on clearance at Michaels and tada! It's much more appropriate for a boy.

And, I broke down...here are some pumpkins...

I added Stickles to make the pumpkins pop out a bit more, then some pretty twine. It's a pretty, basic card I will be sending out around Thanksgiving time.

Thank you for checking out my pumpkin blog and don't forget to play along over at Crafty Contagion!
