Welcome Little One

I had a request for a new baby card. I grabbed a piece of Doodlebug paper, a stamp set from Scrapbook.com and some DCWV brads that I've had forever. To this, I added some cardstock and some matching Doodlebug stickers.
I used a simple side gate fold to give them some added fun.

Thanks for taking a look!

With sincere sympathy

A coworker lost a roommate she's lived with for 17 years. This card is for everyone to sign and let her know we care. I used SU Night of Navy for the card base. The embossing folder is an old one from Darice. The flower is from Layering Poppies by Hot Off the Press. I used VersaFine Clair Nocturne and Arctic. Add a few black bling and it's done. I did stamp a small flower on the inside lower right corner.

Coworker Birthday

This is a fun one. A coworker has a birthday coming up and loves dogs. I used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Crazy Dogs stamp set and the paw prints are from MFT Rainbow Bridge Goodbyes. I used Copics to color the dog. The background is done with VersaFine Clair Warm Breeze.

Filling a need

One of the groups I donate to, Cards for Kindness, has a need to sympathy cards. It's never something I want to make but it's occasionally necessary.

For this card, I used some black on black patterned paper from my stash, some SU Night of Navy and a sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Forever in Our Hearts.

Thanks for stopping by!

It's Christmas card time

I've been working on my personal Christmas cards for a couple of weeks. I want to get them done and dropped in the mail December 1!

This card uses the MFT die Collage Cover-Up and paper from The Paper Studio Christmas Basics 6x6 pad. The sentiment stamps are Lawn Fawn Happy Happy Happy Add On. If you look closely, you'll be able to see the silver sparkle pen I did around the edges. It just needed a little something more, so I did a combination of lines and dots.

Thanks for stopping by!

Freshly Made Sketch 448

Here are two cards for the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge. You can check out the blog post here. I used a Reverse Confetti die for the diagonal feature.

Magical

I bought this cute Queen and Co. card kit called "Magical" at the last scrapbook event I went to. I love Disney and Mickey Mouse so I couldn't resist buying it. It was fun to put together and I'd forgotten how fun it is to make shaker cards.

My only issue is the thickness of the card. In order to mail them, I'll have to pay extra postage. The people who receive them will be more than worth the extra stamp!

Thanks for taking a peek,
Cherie

Monster Truck

I need to find this set again so I can post the name of it. It is so detailed and the die fits it perfectly, even cutting the door so it opens!

You're a star

This picture doesn't do justice to the fun bright colors of this paper. It's some Doodlebug from a 6x6 pad.

Easy Masculine Card

What do you do when you have random masculine paper scraps? Make a card like this, of course.

Yes, you do!

I love how this turned out. The jewel tones are so vibrant!

Shine!

Everyone needs a reminder from time to time, don't you think? Here's the idea for this card.

I got some new balloon dies and used some paper scraps to make these fun, simple cards.

Best EVER

I just adore this paper. The elephants are so cute and the gold ones are shiny!

Rounded thank you

Here's a card from awhile ago. It uses an Altenew sentiment and some old K&Company paper. Spellbinders and a corner rounder give it some smooth details.

Just a wavy note

This was a fun set of cards to make using Echo Park Jack and Jill papers. The die is My Favorite Things Snow Drifts and the sentiment is Paper Smooches.

Hugs

Here's a fun card with some pretty Teresa Collins paper. I love how some of the elephants are shiny. I used some gold American Crafts brads to match and a Hero Arts sentiment.

Blue hugs

I've been using a new Doodlebug 6x6. Here's one of the cards using Mojo Monday 444. The banners are made with matching Doodlebug washi tape. The sentiment is Paper Smooches.

You rock

Here's a card using an Echo Park 6x6 pad called Jack & Jill. I so rarely use orange but those cameras were asking for it. That sentiment is two stamps from Winnie & Walter while the embossing folder is Diamond Plate by Cuttlebug. The inspiration card is here.
