Easy Masculine Card

What do you do when you have random masculine paper scraps? Make a card like this, of course.

This MFT quilt die is one of my favorites. The paper is from an Echo Park 6x6 pad and the sentiment is Paper Smooches.

Just a wavy note

This was a fun set of cards to make using Echo Park Jack and Jill papers. The die is My Favorite Things Snow Drifts and the sentiment is Paper Smooches.

You rock

Here's a card using an Echo Park 6x6 pad called Jack & Jill. I so rarely use orange but those cameras were asking for it. That sentiment is two stamps from Winnie & Walter while the embossing folder is Diamond Plate by Cuttlebug. The inspiration card is here.

Red, white and blue love

Here's a patriotic card for today...well, kind of. I started out using a Paper Studio heart punch on some Echo Park papers and moved on to cutting them out with a Spellbinders circle. Those circles are popped on tiny little pieces of dimensional adhesive. The Hero Arts sentiment is perfect for the circles, don't you think? If you're interested, the card idea can be found here.

Bright and cheerful blessings

Today I have a simple card for you. The bright striped paper is Echo Park and the sentiment is Hero Arts. I used a circle Spellbinder for the black circle, and the yellow is a Bazzill embellishment.

AEIO...U

I did two cards for today using OWH sketch 175. I had to think for a few seconds to make sure I rounded the right corners for the patterns to go the direction I wanted but it was worth it.The Echo Park papers look great with the lines going where I wanted them. The Hero Arts sentiment and Triveni bling give them the perfect finishing looks.

 

Woody Gears

I often wonder how the two sides of paper are chosen. Don't you? One side is so pretty while the other is some horrendous pattern in equally horrendous colors. While this paper isn't that bad on either side, I wonder why they chose a wood grain to go with the gears. The gears on this Echo Park paper are why I bought it. I decided to use the other side of it to make my version of the inspiration card. The border punch is EK and that red circle is embossed with the Darice Steam Punk folder. I used a Stampendous sentiment.

For this sketch, I was trying for a masculine card. I think I made it work. The gear paper is Echo Park and the sentiment, stamped in Fresh Ink Chocolate, is Hot Off the Press. I used some Doodlebug twine and a bit of Triveni bling. 

Blue Hugs and Kisses

I love how this card turned out with the blue pops of color. I started off with this idea and ended up here. The grey stripes are Echo Park and the grey is DeNami, the rest is all card stock. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and a new set of Hero Arts stamps that I got on clearance at Michaels. The circle and heart are done with Spellbinders and the bling is Triveni.

Polka Dot Birthday

I have a friend who loves green and when I saw this green Echo Park polka dot paper, I knew I had to use it for her birthday card. I paired it with some green paper embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and used some black and grey polka dot ribbon to cover that pesky paper seam. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches. I added some white American Crafts brads for extra dimension. This card is not only perfect for her birthday, it's perfect for the current Cards in Envy challenge to Think Green and the Anything Goes challenge at Seize the Birthday.

It's a boy!

Today I made a baby shower card for a friend who's having a baby soon. I used Freshly Made Sketch 125 and even decorated the inside. For the front, I used some Echo Park design paper and some Spellbinders. The sentiment is Rubber Moon and one of my favorites for these kinds of cards. The inside has a strip of Echo Park and a giraffe from Impress. I'm not sure who the inside sentiment is from.

For my card, I used some pretty scraps of Echo Park patterned paper and ivory card stock. The pretty embellishments are Jolee's Boutique and the sentiment is from Inkadinkado.

This card was inspired by this one that I found on Pinterest. I used Nesties for the shape and Echo Park paper with matching Bazzill. The stamps are Hero Arts and the brads are American Crafts. I added a bit of baker's twine for some texture.

The heart stamp is from Stampin' Up! and is stamped in SU Melon Mambo, even though it looks red. And that pretty Echo Park Just Married Lace paper is actually black and white. Dang camera. The blue is Bazzill and run through a Cuttlebug with Divine Swirl. The circles are done with Nesties.
