Sektches 104, 112, 113

If I'm going to get all of the OWH sketches done by the end of the year, I guess I better speed things along! Today is for sketch 104, sketch 112 and sketch 113.

For sketch 104, I used Bazzill Christmas paper for the squares and mounted them on black cardstock. The red pearl paper is embossed with a snowflakes folder. The sentiment is from Fiskars and the ribbon is from my stash.

Next is sketch 112. This is the birthday card I made for my nephew. It featured the cute Build-an-Owl punch from Stampin' Up! It has some red pearl paper along with cream Bazzill and Little Yellow Bicycle Brown Geometric patterned paper. I used Nesties for the ovals and a sentiment from Stampendous. And, of course, the owl needed some googlie eyes.

The last one today is sketch 113. The cardstock is all Bazzill and the patterned paper is Basic Grey. The stamps are from Stampin' Up! and those pretty pearl embellishments came in a pack I got at my LSS.

Are you getting ready for the holidays? I have a play date with my mom next week to make Christmas cards. I like to address the envelopes first so I know how many cards I need.

Turkey coma!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. I know I did. We ate and ate and then ate some more. I've only been able to eat an apple today lol.

Today I have a cute place card for you that I made for dinner last night. I made them for everyone, but when I went to take a picture of it, the camera was dead! So I had to take it with my phone and then send it to myself. I blame my turkey coma for posting it a day late.

I used scalloped Nesties for the feathers and my SU owl punch for the body. The first feather layer is DeNami gold, the second is SU designer paper, the body is brown Bazzill and the yellow is basic cardstock, as is the orange for his beak. I couldn't resist putting some big googlie eyes on him. The name is done with an alphabet set from Recollections.

I found my inspiration here if you'd like to check it out.

Enjoy your weekend!

Sketches 107-111

Here are some more sketches for you. They all have the same basic papers...Bazzill, Basic Grey Lime Rickey patterned paper and some black cardstock. The ink is all VersaFine Black Onyx and the dimensional adhesive is 3M.

Sketch 107: This one uses the SU Hostess set Carry On along with some baker's twin.

Sketch 108: I used the "Love" set from Little Yellow Bicycle for this sentiment. That pink bling is from my LSS, Scrap That! She has them at her "mbellies bar" in a pack of 30. At least I think it's 30. It's a great concept...little goblets with individual items you can buy by the piece.

Sketch 109: Another one using a couple of squiggly brads from Scrap That! This sentiment is from SU Sassy Salutations.

Sketch 110: I used Love from Little Yellow Bicycle again for this card. It has some more of that bright pink bling on the tabs that were punched with the SU Modern Label punch.

Sketch 111: Last one for today. This sentiment is also from Little Yellow Bicycle's Love set. I usually never think to use the bracket stamp, but it seemed to fit this one.

I hope you enjoyed all the cards I had for you today. I think one more will make that bright patterned paper go away lol.

Sketch 105 & 106

It's time to start working on sketches again. The first one today is sketch 105. I started with some pink Bazzill and started using up my two sheets of Basic Grey Lime Rickey patterned paper. The sentiment is from the set "Love" by Little Yellow Bicycle stamped in VersaFine Black Onyx. I used Nestabilities to cut out the circles and a hole punch on some of the Basic Grey for the little accent dots. The sentiment circles are popped with some 3M dimensional adhesive.

Sketch 106 is my second card for today. I used the same papers for this one, with the addition of some magenta Bazzill. The stamp is from the same set as well. I cut out some of the circles from the Basic Grey paper and mounted them on some black circles I cut with Nestabilities. This time I accented the middle of the circles with some Pearl Pen.

I hope you're enjoying your weekend.
