Happy Halloween!

I've always loved Halloween, whether I'm dressing up or handing out candy to the neighborhood kids. Unfortunately, we don't get trick-or-treaters here. So today I'll be making cards, except they'll probably be Valentine cards for OWH lol.

The papers are DCWV and basic card stock. I got all three stamps this year and they're all by Northwoods Rubber Stamps inked in Memento Tuxedo Black. The brads are by American Crafts and the circles were done with Nestabilities.

What's your favorite part of Halloween?

Halloween Happiness

I have a couple more Halloween cards for you today. Both of them use DCWV papers and some basic card stock. The first one uses one of those dollar stamps for the pumpkins and a sentiment from Endless Creations stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black. The white dashes are done with a Gelly Roll pen and the bling is Pearl Pen. The second one uses a cool witch's hat brad from Eyelet Factory and an OWH sketch.

I hope you're having a wonderful week.

Some winter love...OWH sketch 191

I used OWH sketch 191 for a winter love card. I like how the red card stock pops against the brown design paper and the black card stock gives everything a bit more definition. I stamped the Paper Smooches sentiment in Memento Lady Bug on white card stock and used Scotch pop up adhesive for the sentiment element. The bling is from my stash.

I love the fonts used for Paper Smooches sentiments. Do you have a favorite stamp company for sentiments?

Freshly Made 103

I really enjoy the sketches from Freshly Made Sketches. They're the type of cards I enjoy making the most. This one is sketch 103. I used both sides of my favorite winter paper and some SU Rich Razzleberry. The brads are American Crafts and the Hero Arts sentiment is stamped in SU Rich Razzleberry.

I hope you manage to squeeze in some crafty time today!

OWH sketch 194

This OWH sketch is loaded with layers which I love. The patterned paper is DCWV. I used brown, red and tan Bazzill for my layers and some white card stock for the sentiment piece. The Stampendous sentiment is stamped in Fresh Ink Chocolate and the whole thing is finished off with an American Crafts brown brad. The layered center square is popped up with Scotch adhesive.

Enjoy your day!

Freshly Made 108

Today I have a card for you that uses Freshly Made Sketches #108. I'm calling this a "love" card because of that little heart inside the paisley rub on. The patterned paper and rub on are from Clever Handmade, also known as Heidi Grace. The mauve and yellow are Bazzill while the white and black are card stock. Don't you love those little banners on the bottom?

I can't believe this card doesn't have any stamping on it! Do you ever manage to make cards like that?

Seize the Sketch #6

I love this Seize the Sketch #6. It's clean and simple and gives me a great way to feature some of my gazillion patterned papers. I did two cards for this one with some scraps of paper I just couldn't throw away.

The first card uses a piece of DCWV and the second one is, I believe, from Pebbles. They both use lots of Bazzill and some basic card stock. Both have a rub on sentiment from Pebbles.

Mojo Monday 315

I took up the Mojo Monday 315 challenge this week and here's what I ended up with. I started with some Pink Paislee paper and added some pink and purple Bazzill. The CTMH image and sentiments are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black on ivory card stock. The ribbon is from my stash.

Have an amazing weekend!

Fun with SEI

I have this 6x6 pad of SEI papers that kinda match, but not really match...know what I mean? So I decided to use this card from Pinterest as my inspiration since it only uses small strips of different papers. I used Fresh Ink Chocolate for the Hero Arts image and Hot Off the Press sentiment. It goes so well with the dark brown Bazzill circle layer and bottom strip. I wanted to use a dark color at the bottom to help anchor the card. I added a black brad by American Crafts to give the whole thing some extra dimension. The circle sentiment is done with Nesties and popped up.

These will likely go into my "gift" drawer and be part of a Christmas present.

Many Authentique Thanks

Today I chose OWH sketch 151 and some 6x6 Authentique Loyal papers. I love how these two pieces seem to flow together and look like one piece. The blue and green circles are Bazzill and cut with Nestabilities. The DeNami sentiment is stamped in SU Old Olive and SU Night of Navy onto some ivory card stock. The circles are all popped up with some Scotch adhesive.

Are you ready for Halloween? Have you mailed your spooky cards yet?

Witches and Pumpkins and Copics...oh my!

I hauled out my Copics for these two cards. I simply adore the first image from Endless Creations. It makes me smile every time I see it. The papers are DCWV and card stock. The sentiment and punches are SU. The second card has all of the same papers, but the image is from The Angel Company. It also uses an OWH sketch.

Have a spooktacular day!

A CASE from Pinterest

Here's another card I found on Pinterest that I had to CASE. I used part of my 6x6 Authentique Loyal pad, some pretty green and blue Bazzill and ivory/black card stock. The sentiment is Stampendous inked in Memento Tuxedo Black. The circles were done with Nesties and the buttons are from my stash. I used my Copic Multi-Liner for the black dashes.

October fun

Here are a couple of Halloween cards for you. The first one uses some DCWV papers, a pumpkin from Stampendous and a sentiment from Stampers Anonymous. The inks are SU Pumpkin Pie and Memento Tuxedo Black. And the bling is from my stash. These cards fit perfectly into the current Cards in Envy challenge.

The second card uses some Heidi Grace stripes and orange, yellow, black and ivory card stock. I'm not sure where the stamp is from, but it's stamped in SU Old Olive. This time the bling is Pearl Pen.

Are you enjoying the cooler fall weather? Or are you ready for summer already?

Mojo Monday Multiples

Today I have two challenges to share. The first one is this great Mojo Monday 312 sketch and the second follows the OWH MWT Multiply the fun...I made six of these cards. The purple and yellow are Bazzill. I'm really loving the dark purple with this pretty snowflake paper. The circles were done with Nestabilities and the sentiment is Savvy stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black. That pretty white brad is The Paper Studio.

Do you tend to use the same items until they're gone like I usually do? Like all of one 12x12? Or an entire pack of brads?

World Card Making Day!

WCDinvite

Welcome to my stop on the Operation Write Home blog hop for World Card Making Day! Our goal for this hop is to make a thank you card using one of the OWH sketches. To get back to the main page, all you need to do is click on the picture above.

For my card, I chose OWH sketch 122. The white/brown paper didn't have a company name on it, but I do know I got it last year on sale to use this year for winter/holiday cards. The dark purple is Bazzill and the white is SU Whisper White. I embossed the two thin stripes with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder. The brads are from The Paper Studio. The Inkadinkado sentiment is stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black.

I hope you're finding lots of inspiration along the hop!

CELEBRATE!

I've had this idea pinned on Pinterest for a very long time. I finally pulled out my bag of buttons and made a few. The striped paper is by Pebbles layered on some red and blue Bazzill. The circles were done with Nestabilites. For the sentiment, I used one from Hot Off the Press stamped in SU Real Red.

Are you ready for the HUGE OWH blog hop tomorrow?

Eye Miss You

When I saw this card on Pinterest, I knew I had to make my own version. The original is a Halloween card, but I could easily see it as a miss you card. The blue paper is basic card stock and brown paper is Bazzill with a Martha Stewart punched border. The polka dot paper is Basic Grey and that orange ribbon...I got that to use on Halloween cards lol. The eyes are done with Nesties and the sentiment is Hero Arts stamped in Fresh Ink Chocolate.

Have a fabulous weekend!
