You Are Fabulous

I went waaay back into the OWH archives and made these with sketch 1. I used both sides of a piece of Pebbles paper, a sentiment from SU and some Triveni bling.

Men and their tools

Don't you love these tool brads from Eyelet Outlet? They remind me of my dad's workshop/garage. I knew I wanted to use them on some Father's Day cards and I found this bold chevron Pebbles paper in my pile of large scraps that seemed perfect for a simple card. The Fiskars sentiment is done with VersaFine ink. This card fits perfectly with the current OWH MWT "Father's Day cards."

Seize the Sketch #6

I love this Seize the Sketch #6. It's clean and simple and gives me a great way to feature some of my gazillion patterned papers. I did two cards for this one with some scraps of paper I just couldn't throw away.

The first card uses a piece of DCWV and the second one is, I believe, from Pebbles. They both use lots of Bazzill and some basic card stock. Both have a rub on sentiment from Pebbles.

CELEBRATE!

I've had this idea pinned on Pinterest for a very long time. I finally pulled out my bag of buttons and made a few. The striped paper is by Pebbles layered on some red and blue Bazzill. The circles were done with Nestabilites. For the sentiment, I used one from Hot Off the Press stamped in SU Real Red.

Are you ready for the HUGE OWH blog hop tomorrow?

Round the Clock

I was sitting in my LSS, contemplating what project to work on next, and decided on this basic layout that works so well with this double-sided piece of Pebbles "Let Freedom Ring" DP. I used a slate blue and dark blue Bazzill along with some white card stock. The sentiment is Hero Arts.

Mojo Monday 301

I enjoyed using the latest Mojo Monday sketch. The circle paper is from Pebbles; the black and white is basic card stock; the green, blue and orange are Bazzill. The green is embossed with the Cuttlebug Spots & Dots folder. I used a Stampendous sentiment. The ovals were done with Nesties. American Crafts makes the white brads.

Hugs!

Last time I shared kisses. Today I'm sharing hugs. And robots! It's amazing what you find when you clean and organize, isn't it? I thought this would make a cute boy card. This is kind of a take on one of the OWH banner sketches.

This card features paper from Pebbles Lil' Buddy Collection, black and white card stock, and some blue and green Bazzill. I used my new star Nesties and a star brad from my stash. The sentiment is Paper Smooches.

Thanks for stopping by!

Striped Thank You

For this card, I used Stars & Stripes sketch 20. I had the Stampendous sentiment picked out but I was worried about what embellishment I was going to use to fill the extra white space. Then I remembered this star from one of the OWH Hero Arts sets. It goes well with the papers and the sentiment. The striped paper is Pebbles and the rest is cardstock I had on hand.

Thanks!

For today...another thank you card! This is one of my favorite Stars & Stamps sketches (sketch 142). I'm really into banners these days so this one is perfect.

The patterned paper is from the same sheet of Pebbles Let Freedom Ring collection. The dies are Lifestyles and the stamp is Fiskars. For embossing, I used one of my new Cuttlebug folders.

Happy Monday!

Miss you...sketch 103

Here is sketch 103 for you. I thought it was a little busy, but my craft group assured me it wasn't. I used the Hero Arts All the Time stamp set. I love how this set has the hands of the clock as separate stamps so you can choose the time you want. Since I wanted the stamps to shine, I only used a little piece of Pebbles Lil' Bubbles paper as a layer for the sentiment. The rest of the papers are Bazzill except for the basic black cardstock. The circles are done with Nesties and there is a black dot of Pearl Pen in the middle of the clocks.

Have a fantabulous day!

Fuzzy Ball...sketch 102

Look! It's more Pebbles Lil' Bubbles paper lol. This sketch is pretty basic and I've been anxious to use my new DeNami Fuzzy Ball stamp. Isn't it just the cutest thing? I colored it with a Copic marker and used some Nesties to cut out the circles. Those strips are Bazzill papers. I added the orange brads because my friend Kelli suggested I use some orange paper to bring out the orange bubbles, but I didn't have any of the right color orange.

I think one more card will finish off this Pebbles paper, but it's so bright and fun to use that I might miss it.

Missing you...sketch 101

This was a fun sketch to do. I love making banners. I used some Pebbles Lil' Bubbles paper for the banner flags and layering. The blue and green papers are Bazzill. Some baker's twine attaches all the flags together. Thank goodness for my friend Sheila, who let me borrow some of her glue to make it stick. The sentiment is Stampendous and those little black dots are Pearl Pen.

Enjoy your week and take some time to get inky!

Thinking of you...sketch 100!

Woohoo! I made it to sketch 100! I feel like I'll be able to complete all of the sketches now by the end of the year. I'm so excited!

The DP is Pebbles Lil' Buddy Bubbles and the blue and green are Bazzill. I used a plain old hole punch for the blue and green dots. The line of black dots is Pearl Pen.  For the sentiment, I used a stamp from the Stampendous Happy Messages set.

Be on the lookout for more of that Pebbles paper. It is...or was...a 12x12 sheet.
