You & Me

I did this card awhile ago and didn't write down the sketch info, but I do remember using a sketch! I even remember who I was with and where I was when making it. Anyway...the striped paper is a 6x6 that lost it's cover long ago, so I have no idea who makes it. I do know that the sentiment is three different stamps from a Hero Arts set and the smile inside is from The Alley Way Stamps. That bling is Triveni and everything was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black.

Some birdie

I just love how this card turned out. It'll make a great card for someone to send home to a child. I used the idea I saw here and gave it my own little twist. Those head feathers are actually the end of a Memory Box snowflake die and the bodies were done with a Sizzix egg die. They just screamed...or tweeted?...for googlie eyes. I made the beaks with a rectangle folded in half and cut to the corners. You can't really tell in this picture, but they do open.

For the sentiment, I layered a Spellbinders oval onto a Taylored Expressions label die. The sentiment itself is from Hero Arts and is stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black. The inside stamp is also Hero Arts.

Swish Swish

That's what this SU Work of Art stamp set reminds me of...swishes of a paintbrush. I used SU Night of Navy, Memento Cottage Ivy and London Fog, as well as Fresh Ink Chocolate. The embellishments are years old from Recollections.

Missing U

This was a fun card to make! It's so hard to find stamps that have a missing you sentiment on it and this is a fun alternative. It took a little longer than I planned. The Studio 112 alphabet I chose to use just didn't look right with the letters next to each other on the block, so I had to stamp each letter individually. When I was done stamping, it looked too plain and boring and begged for some texture. I used a Darice folder for that. The three missing "u" are stamped on the front corner of the envelope. Here is the card I CASE'd.

Leafy Love

I've used these SU and Memento colors together before and really like how well they go together, so I used them again on this card. The SU Work of Art set works well for this layout and covered just enough for those Spellbinders circles. I added a Hero Arts leaf and words from SU and Paper Smooches. The Triveni bling give just the right amount of extra detail.

Sweet and simple

I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest and loved the simplicity. I stamped the Hero Arts grid stamp in Hampton Art Aqua then added the sentiment from a different Hero Arts set. I wanted a bit of bling so I added three rhinestones.

Petite Petals Miss You

This card is a pretty close CASE of this card. It features the Stampin' Up Petite Petals stamp set and matching punch. The embossing was done with a Sizzix folder and a Cuttlebug. I used some SU, Distress Ink and ColorBox inks. The sentiment is from Hero Arets and the bling is Triveni.

Love you

I've had this metallic accented paper for years and finally pulled some of it out to make a few cards using Mojo Monday 366. I believe the paper is DCWV but couldn't swear it. The sentiment is Impression Obsession stamped in Fresh Ink Chocolate.

Happy Monsters

I love this stamp set from Recollections. For this card, I did some masking so they're standing on each other's heads. They're colored with Copics and accented with some googlie eyes. I used several layers to help draw out the colors and mounted it on some Bella Blvd star paper. There's a Stampendous happy birthday stamped on the inside.

Flowery Thanks!

Here's a simple, fun card. I ran part of it through the Cuttlebug and punched out some white flowers with a SU punch. The brads are from a Recollections set. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado stamped in SU Pacific Point.

God Bless

I really wanted to use this Gina K label stamp and thought it went well with this Me & My Big Ideas flower paper. The sentiment is Paper Smooches and has a couple of American Crafts brads to help accent it. The sheer black ribbon is from my stash.

Festive Thank You

These colors totally remind me of Christmas, but there's nothing Christmas-y about a thank you card. I started with Freshly Made Sketch 142 and found the papers in my stash. I think the stripes is DCWV and the sparkly swirls is Paper Studio. The Stampendous sentiment is done in VersaFine Onyx Black. It looked a bit plain, so I added some bright green bling.

Missing you flowers

I found a pad of adhesive paper in my stash the other day and was excited to use it. It has some fun bright colors in it like this pink, blue and yellow. It was a little tricky taking off the backing, but totally worth not having to glue those flowers. The large flower was done with a SU Petite Petals punch and the small white center is a Recollections punch. The brad is American Crafts. I used a Darice folder for the embossing and a Stampendous sentiment stamped in Memento London Fog.

Some embossed love

Don't you love watching embossing powder melt? It never fails to make me smile. This time I used JoAnn Craft Essentials Red powder and matched it with a pretty heart brad I picked up at a craft show. The embossed paper is actually a light gray and the SU love sentiment is on white. I like how simple yet detailed this card looks. I got the basic idea for it here

Flowerful Fancy

I used a lot of different inks for this card: Stampin' Up, Memento, ColorBox, Powderpuff. This fun set is from Close to My Heart and I did some masking to get the vases placed close together. A few pieces of Triveni bling give it just enough sparkle.

Ladybug Birthday Wishes

I'm not a big fan of paper (Washi) tape, but when I went to a scrapbook expo and there was some for $1.00 a roll, I couldn't pass it up. They, Queen & Co., also had lots of rhinestone decorations for $1.00. This lady bug is one of those. I used a Spellbinders die for the white then fussy cut the black layer. The sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations, also picked up at the same expo.

Heartfelt Thanks

Here's a simple and pretty card. The GCD Studios papers are from the same 6x6 pad that I got on clearance. With an Inkadkinado sentiment and some Triveni bling, the papers really shine.

Pac-Man and his ghosts

When I saw this card, I knew I had to make my own version and it fits perfectly with the CASology challenge this week. I used the SU owl punch for the ghosts and dots. Pac-Man is done with a circle Spellbinders and a pair of scissors. The papers have some texture which don't show up in the photo, so it's not as flat looking as it seems. Some googlie eyes give it a fun feel.

Winter Birthday Card

I made this card yesterday and am squeezing it in right at the deadline! The October ODBD challenge is to make a non-Christmas card with snowflakes. It also fits the Mid-Month Throwdown of making a winter birthday card.

I started with a cool Embossalicious folder that has all of that pretty embossing in one folder. How cool is that?! I gently rubbed a Powder Puff Lemonade ink pad over the snowflakes and punched out a snowflake to let the blue shine through. The sentiment is Gina K with some Triveni bling added.
