Freshly Made Sketch 448

Here are two cards for the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge. You can check out the blog post here. I used a Reverse Confetti die for the diagonal feature. 

       

Magical

I bought this cute Queen and Co. card kit called "Magical" at the last scrapbook event I went to. I love Disney and Mickey Mouse so I couldn't resist buying it. It was fun to put together and I'd forgotten how fun it is to make shaker cards. 

My only issue is the thickness of the card. In order to mail them, I'll have to pay extra postage. The people who receive them will be more than worth the extra stamp!

Monster Truck

I need to find this set again so I can post the name of it. It is so detailed and the die fits it perfectly, even cutting the door so it opens!

You're a star

This picture doesn't do justice to the fun bright colors of this paper. It's some Doodlebug from a 6x6 pad.

Easy Masculine Card

What do you do when you have random masculine paper scraps? Make a card like this, of course.

I love how this turned out. The jewel tones are so vibrant!

Everyone needs a reminder from time to time, don't you think? Here's the idea for this card.

Simple fun

I got some new balloon dies and used some paper scraps to make these fun, simple cards.

Quilt die

This MFT quilt die is one of my favorites. The paper is from an Echo Park 6x6 pad and the sentiment is Paper Smooches.

Best EVER

I just adore this paper. The elephants are so cute and the gold ones are shiny!

Rounded thank you

Here's a card from awhile ago. It uses an Altenew sentiment and some old K&Company paper. Spellbinders and a corner rounder give it some smooth details.

Just a wavy note

This was a fun set of cards to make using Echo Park Jack and Jill papers. The die is My Favorite Things Snow Drifts and the sentiment is Paper Smooches.

Hugs

Here's a fun card with some pretty Teresa Collins paper. I love how some of the elephants are shiny. I used some gold American Crafts brads to match and a Hero Arts sentiment. 

Blue hugs

I've been using a new Doodlebug 6x6. Here's one of the cards using Mojo Monday 444. The banners are made with matching Doodlebug washi tape. The sentiment is Paper Smooches.

You rock

Here's a card using an Echo Park 6x6 pad called Jack & Jill. I so rarely use orange but those cameras were asking for it. That sentiment is two stamps from Winnie & Walter while the embossing folder is Diamond Plate by Cuttlebug. The inspiration card is here.

You Are Fabulous

I went waaay back into the OWH archives and made these with sketch 1. I used both sides of a piece of Pebbles paper, a sentiment from SU and some Triveni bling.

 

Colorful Hello

Here's a fun OWH bonus sketch from way back in 2012. I used some American Crafts papers, some Hero Arts stamps and a bit of Triveni bling.

Be Yourself

This card definitely turned out different from the one I was looking at here. Sometimes you just have to go with what you end up with, though, right? I used a Rubbernecker stamp with some Fresh Ink Chocolate and Memento London Fog to make the background. The sentiment is also a Rubbernecker stamped in SU Old Olive. Those stars are all from scraps I had on hand.

Perfect Thank You

This is the card I made using this card for inspiration. I've had this piece of Doodlebug paper for quite awhile now and it was time to make a "girlie" card. The stamp is from Inkadinkado and the inside is stamped "thank you."

I'm slowly working my way through an American Crafts 6x6 pad and this is one of the cards I made with it. It follows OWH sketch 240. The smile is a stamp from Endless Creations.
